Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQCM's Mark Gasser performs for Black Tie affair

Mark Gasser worked his musical magic at a Black Tie evening held at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) theatre on Saturday evening.

PhotoID:3153 As well as enjoying champagne and canapes in the foyer after the concert, local Mackay residence, staff and students of CQCM were treated to a musical feast in which Mark displayed his great passion and talent in performing.
