Mackay's Big Night In set to be a 'theming' success
Published on 19 October, 2010
The Big Night In scheduled for Mackay this Friday and Saturday (Oct 23-24) is set to be a 'theming success', with something for all tastes.
From radio-friendly Doris Day and Bobby Darrin tunes from the 1950s, to colour-themed songs of the 1960s and Queen's glam rock favourites from the 1970s, audience members are sure to go home happy.
The event also features performances by CQUniversity's jazz and popular music staff and students who are heading for a tour of the United States later in October.
The Big Night In will be held at 11am and 7.30pm on the Friday and at 7.30pm on the Saturday, at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) Theatre on Mackay Campus.
Tickets are available at the venue before the shows or bookings are via Mackay Entertainment Centre on 4961 9700: Adults $20, Concession $15, Con Friends $10, Students $5.
