CQUniversity's Dr Noel Patson has worn his Mathematicians in Schools hat with pride this week, helping two Year 8 classes at Glenmore High to construct a Truncated Icosahedron CD Sculpture.
Using donated CDs and cable ties, the soccer ball-shaped scupture project encourages students to draw and understand the sculpture before building it.
"It was great to work with the enthusiastic students and see the final product of our efforts," Dr Patson said.
