Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery will host a live-mixed audio-visual performance entitled ‘Pacific_Live' as part of the upcoming opening of an exhibition called 'Pacific Storm'.
CQUniversity Multimedia lecturer Dr Grayson Cooke and New Zealand artist Naomi Lamb will reflect on the aesthetics and issues facing Pacific peoples in the contemporary world, mixing interviews and documentary footage with images, music and sound from the Pacific.
Dr Cooke is a local digital media artist, regularly gracing the public arena in such performances, whilst Lamb, based in Wellington, creates installations and performs live media at music and cultural festivals around New Zealand and internationally.
The event, which has been funded by the Regional Arts Development Fund, is open to all ages and will be held at the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery on June 3 at 7.30pm.
