Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Mackay learning management coordinator farewelled

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Education this week farewelled the Master of Learning Management coordinator for CQU Mackay, Mr Ray Clarke.

PhotoID:3194 Mr Clarke, an employee of Education Queensland, has been working one day a week at CQU to coordinate the MLM program in a partnership between Education Queensland and CQU Mackay. He was thanked for his contribution to CQU and to the MLM program.
