In what is expected to be an Australian first for a Relay for Life event, a group of cancer survivors will perform as a chorus line of dancers for the opening ceremony at CQU Rockhampton on Saturday (May 19).
The all-female troupe has been prepared by Relay for Life coordinator Avis Hartle.
Relay for Life is an overnight team event which raises funds for the Cancer Council (formerly known as Queensland Cancer Fund).
