Students and staff encouraged to join Relay for Life
Published on 05 February, 2008
Students and staff are encouraged to join The Cancer Council Queensland's Relay for Life event, coming up again on May 17-18 in Rockhampton and hosted by Central Queensland University.
This year, teams registered by March 31 will be in the draw to win shopping vouchers donated by City Centre Plaza.
Relay For Life is open to everyone. It's a festive yet moving event where teams keep a baton moving overnight.
Teams of 10 or more come together from businesses, schools, community groups, friends and families to share this unique experience.

Organisers are also keen to involve cancer survivors in the Survivors Walk and other aspects of the weekend.
So you can have some fun while raising funds for cancer research, education and patient support programs.
