Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Melbourne Campus celebrates another term

Students and staff recently came together to celebrate making it through another term, at the End of Term 1 Party.

Students helped create a wonderful party atmosphere in the campus student recreation room, contributing ideas and organising a great selection of music to bring the space alive.

Melbourne Campus students and staff enjoyed an evening of fun, dancing and relaxing together before their exams.

Students were encouraged to wear their national costume and many students did this with style, brightening the room with their colourful costumes and livening up the dance floor!
