Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Internal students to get printed DE materials, urged to check course profiles 

Advice has been issued in relation to study materials.

As from Term 2, 2006, internally enrolled students will receive a printed copy of distance education materials for a course where these documents already exist for the flexible mode offering.

Please check your course profile in Part B, under heading ‘Course Presentation’ for details of what printed materials are available.

From Term 2, 2006, course profiles will only be available to students either on CD (Faculty Business & Informatics, and Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Education), or electronically through the CQU website.
