Chancellor, VC attend Queensland Cup in Shanghai

CQU Chancellor Rennie Fritschy and Vice-Chancellor John Rickard recently attended the grand final of the fourth Queensland Cup in Shanghai.

PhotoID:2939 The Queensland Cup is a joint project between the Queensland Government Trade and Investment Office in Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Queensland Government.

The Queensland Cup is primarily an English language speaking competition where contestants are judged on their capacity for interactive dialogue.

Most Queensland universities, including CQU, some schools and TAFEs provide scholarships as prizes for this event.

This year CQU has provided a scholarship for a winner to spend some time at the Rockhampton campus as well at the Gold Coast/Brisbane campus to better profile the regional and city destinations of CQU.
