Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Prestigious roles for Moxham 

Congratulations to Associate Professor Lorna Moxham who has just been invested as a Fellow of the College of Nursing and appointed to the Academic Council of the College of Nursing.

The Fellowship recognises outstanding  leadership within the profession and only goes to a select group.

The Academic Council of the College of Nursing is the senior committee for all matters related to education and delivery of courses within the College.
