"They received a big thank you and compliments from the (organising) Vajrayana Institute," she said.

"Happiness & Its Causes is an extraordinary conference bringing together 50+ speakers from all over the world and an engaged audience of over 2000 delegates for a thrilling exploration of the science, psychology and philosophy of human happiness," Ms Woortman said.

Volunteer Coordinator for the Conference, Helen Trussler said the students provided much-needed additional resources at times when some other volunteers could not afford the time.

"They were willing to learn and help wherever and whenever they were asked. They worked well and cooperated with all our Team Leaders and in some cases, even brought further inspiration to other conference volunteers."
