Representatives from education, training, business and industry have combined resources and expertise to more effectively tap into the international student market.
The central Queensland Education and Training Network Australia believes the economic and cultural advantages for Central Queensland are potentially enormous. “In terms of national income, the international student industry is bigger than wool and almost as big as wheat,” said Kathy Ramm, Director of CQU International and Network interim Treasurer.
“I believe the as a complete package, Central Queensland offers opportunities for overseas people wanting to further their education which are the equal of any in the world and this collaborative approach can help us realise our potential,” said Ms Ramm.
