Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Industrial research scholarships available in Gladstone 

CQU's Process Engineering and Light Metals (PELM) Centre in Gladstone has opportunities available for postgraduate research students, both full-time and part-time.

Scholarships of up to $35, 000 per annum tax-free are available for suitable candidates for a full or part-time PhD or Masters by Research.

Candidates will work in the well-appointed PELM research laboratories on projects related to industrial materials, fluids processing, advanced sensors and asset management.
