Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQU researcher mainstay of 'Fair Go for Industry' report

Central Queensland University senior lecturer Dr Richard Whitwell has been acknowledged for his extensive research and advisory contribution to a new report of national significance.

The report - 'A Fair Go For Australian Industry' - is Labor's Policy Discussion Paper on Australia's Anti-Dumping Administration.

The paper was released by Senator Joe Ludwig, the Shadow Minister for Justice and Customs, and forms part of Federal Labor's policy deliberations.

Submissions based on the paper are open until March 30, 2007.
