After working in marketing across the early childhood learning and high school sectors, she is looking forward to a role in higher education and believes CQUniversity has a lot to offer its graduates.

"Proactive and positive relationships with our graduates are an essential component of the University's engagement goals and our quest to be known as Australia's most engaged university. I will develop strategies to strengthen the alliance between the University and graduates, and to promote the benefits of connecting with CQUniversity," Jo said.

"Graduates are important advocates for the University, creating positive reputations within the community about the quality of our education and its transformative effect.  My position of Graduate Relations Manager focuses on creating awareness of how alumni can have a life-long relationship with the University and on keeping the relationship active and valued."

Jo has extensive marketing experience, both internationally and domestically. She also has completed an undergraduate degree in marketing and public relations and will shortly complete a Masters degree in Marketing.

Born and bred in Mackay, Jo is delighted to be back home in Central Queensland and to be working for CQUniversity, where she can use her skills gained to date and be a part of the growing CQ community.
