Melbourne Campus supporters celebrate Uni's fresh face

Melbourne was recently among campuses launching the University's fresh face, introducing the new brand to on-shore education agents and staff with an evening of cocktails at Rydges Melbourne.

The event was organised to formally introduce the University's new logo. An impressive slideshow presentation depicting the history of the University and changes to the logo was followed by a speech from Vice-Chancellor and President John Rickard.

"It's a fresh outlook based on tradition," Professor Rickard said.

"While acknowledging our heritage and motto - Doctrina Perpetua or Forever Learning - today's artwork feels open, positive and welcoming. At the same time it is inspiring, unpretentious, bold and straight-forward.

"However, these changes go beyond any superficial change to imagery. The University is a youthful and unconventional institution - closely linked to the community, enthusiastic about lifelong learning and focused on the success of individual students and stakeholders. The logo as part of the University brand helps to express that."

The complete rollout of the CQUniversity brand across the University's 10 sites is expected to take 18 months to complete.

Over 100 representatives from education agents and staff attended the event, making the event a success.
