Published on 30 May, 2002
Celebrated Australian author, journalist and academic Donald Horne will be in Rockhampton on Friday 7 June to speak about tolerance and what he calls “the need for a permanent liberal-democratic conspiracy.” Since the success of his best-seller, The Lucky Country, in the 1960’s, Donald Horne has been a prolific contributor and analyst of Australian society and he has served the nation in many different capacities.
Horne delivers the address in the Old Supreme Court building on Friday 7 June at 1:00pm, to be followed by questions and discussion.
