The main Bruce Highway entrance to Central Queensland University Rockhampton will be closed from Wednesday, January 5, 2005, for a duration of about three weeks due to the upgrade of the entrance road to the University.
Access to the University will be via the College Road and Norman Road entrances.
People wishing to utilise the top car park will be able to do so via Glenister Sheil Road.
Only traffic travelling to buildings 37, 39, 41 and Hillview will be able to enter the University through the main entrance.
Directional signage will be erected to assist.
As a result of this work the northern bay of CP11(Carpark 11 is in front of Building 31, off Glenister Sheil Road) has been closed from Wednesday December 15 2004 for the full duration of the construction.
Contractors working on site have requested that traffic please use indicators to ensure that the traffic flow is as smooth as possible.
