CQUniversity's Director of People and Culture Barbara Miller said all entries were of an extremely high standard but there were some that stood out from the batch.

The taster's choice award went to Tameka Bailey for her gorgeous Black Forrest Gateaux, while Margaret Van Nunen's amazing White Chocolate and Berry Cheesecake took out runner-up.

Celebrity judge Michael Ness from Capricornia College awarded his prize to Narelle Stubbins for her delicious and beautifully displayed peach blossoms.

The bakeoff raised over $400 for this year's Relay for Life fundraiser, with CQUniversity staffers paying $2 a vote for their favourite piece.

All the recipes will now be compiled in the Chefs R US Relay for Life Cookbook which will be on sale soon for $15. Contact Denyse Hill (d.m.hill@cqu.edu.au) to reserve your copy.
