Kim Kirkman, a Mackay-based lecturer from CQU's Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, will travel south to offer expert advice to Emmaus College vocal students attending an annual music camp in Yeppoon.
A former music director/co-owner and singer with The Ten Tenors, Kim has worked extensively with young voices in Australia and the UK.
Martin O'Callohan, director of the Emmaus Band, is pleased to have Kim return.
"Kim sang at the Emmaus Music Bowl performance 4 years ago in front of 5000 people, it is great to have him back again," says Martin.
The camp will culminate in a free performance at the Yeppoon Recreational Centre, from 10.30am on Sunday, February 12, with band, choir and solo performances.
