Level playing field sought for sports education

A national conference will seek strategies to give players, coaches , officials and sports administrators from outside big cities better access to sports education opportunities.
The conference, dubbed 'Whose Looking After the Bush?', will be held at Rydges International, Yeppoon, Central Queensland from July 14-16.
Conference chair Dr Peter Reaburn said the event would identify best practice in delivery of sports education services and accreditation courses to rural and regional Australia.
He said delegates would address issues of access, expense, travel, expertise, employment pathways and mentoring.
