Finn welcomed back at Coolum school

You may not know the name Finn Buckley, but the face may ring a bell - possibly a school bell? Finn (pictured) has commenced his teaching career at Coolum Primary School, following the completion of his Bachelor of Learning Management degree at Central Queensland University Noosa Hub.

PhotoID:1540 He is also one of the faces of CQU's press and TV campaign for enrolments in 2005.

In partnership with Education Queensland, CQU Noosa students like Finn can graduate in three years thanks to an accelerated program which concentrates on classroom experience under the supervision of a specialist mentor.

As a member of the first group to attain the degree, Finn, like many other former students has achieved a position at one of the schools where he had been doing his practical training.

This is a reflection of the acceptance of the students within the education system, and the practical professional training they have experienced.

Additional places for aspiring secondary teachers will be added to Noosa Hub for 2005, together with the existing Early Childhood and Primary places.

CQU Noosa Hub also offers a Masters Degree in Learning Management for Postgraduate students and current teachers to further develop their professional qualifications.
