Lifelong learning ends

Actually, it was only the conference that ended. Experts in Lifelong Learning from the region and all over the world, wrapped up their intense three-day conference hosted by Central Queensland University this past Tuesday (CQU).
Conference Coordinator Margaret Appleton, told ABC Capricornia that today's mobility of employment and changing technology means learning is no longer confined to school and university. .
“A Lifelong learning community can provide a more highly skilled workforce and a more informed and inclusive society,” said Appleton.

The second International Lifelong Learning Conference, held at Rydges, included participants from a range of professional areas including medical doctors and information technology experts, as well as lecturers and researchers.
