CQU Executive Dean Professor Elizabeth Taylor AO has accepted an invitation to become a member of the National Manufacturing Forum.
The forum is a fixed-term representative body which will provide oversight for the development of a Strategic Action Plan for Manufacturing.
Professor Taylor was invited to participate by Victoria's Minister for Manufacturing and Export on behalf of State and Territory Ministers with responsibility for manufacturing.
She attended a National Manufacturing Summit in Melbourne last December and a meeting of the Forum in Melbourne on April 27.
"I look forward to participating in this collaborative initiative to enable a strategic and structured approach for manufacturing in Australia," Professor Taylor said.
