HRM program gets professional accreditation
Published on 09 September, 2004
CQU's business program is one of only eight in Australia to be accredited by the peak human resources body for the next three years.
HR lecturer Karen Windeknecht (pictured) is pleased to announce that graduates of our Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management) program will now have automatic membership of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) when they apply.
AHRI, representing the professional human resources specialists, provides professional recognition.
The new AHRI membership grades will ensure that HR professionals get the recognition they deserve. Member (MAHRI) is available to HR professionals who have completed a relevant graduate qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience or successfully completed the AHRI examination.
With its focus on the requirements of current and future market demands, CQU\'s HR program has got it right. Employers looking to engage the services of human resources specialists can now have confidence that CQU graduates have the knowledge and skills they need.
Recognition of our business programs is not limited to HRM. Graduates of our Bachelor of Accounting enjoy similar benefits with accreditation of that program with CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia representing many thousands of professional accountants and auditors in Australia.
