Rip a strip off Richie

Some people will go to great lengths for fundraising these days, but Richie Wright would have to be the bravest. Richie, a third year nursing student at Central Queensland University Bundaberg, has decided to ‘bare all’ to raise money for the upcoming Relay For Life.

PhotoID:2864 With special thanks from The Wax Pot, Richie will embark on a full body wax. “The more money raised, the more hair comes off.” Richie said. “I am even prepared to go the full monty.” But don’t think that The Wax Pot girls will get all the fun. You too can rip a strip off Richie. “For a small fee I will let you rip a strip. Of course it would have to be under the tuition of The Wax Pot girls,” Richie said.

The waxing will take place on April 19 at the Central Queensland University Student Refectory starting at 3pm. To make a contribution please contact Richie Wright on 0428 182 903.

The Relay For Life is an overnight team event to raise funds for cancer research, education and patient support programs. There will be four teams entered from CQU Bundaberg including two teams of nursing students, one team of education students and a team of Bundaberg campus staff.

PhotoID:2865 Fundraising will also include a raffle organised by the education students with the major prize being an overnight stay at the Quality Hotel Burnett Riverside including breakfast for two and second prize a $30 gift voucher from Wizz Kids Educational Toys & Games. All tickets are just $1 and can be purchased from Clare Mac Dermott on 4150 7110.
