What was a key turning point for you?

"When working for a large multinational human resources company in Mumbai, in the west of India, I realised I would not be able to progress far without postgraduate qualifications, hence I chose to come to study for my Masters of Business Administration in Rockhampton," he said.

Sujesh is an advocate for course evaluations since they enable the

'student voice' to be heard. He found it fulfilling to provide feedback.

What are you doing now?

"I've been completing my academic studies and have been able to get some professional experience working on HRM projects within CQUniversity itself."

What's coming up in future?

"I'm not sure yet whether I'll return to India or travel elsewhere."

What do you do outside the campus?

"I like movies and socialising as well as sport."

What's something people may not know about you?

"I was able to get a medal in soccer during the Rockhampton Campus Mini-Olympics and a medal in table tennis at the recent Chancellor's Cup event in Melbourne, which is a development because I used to be more known for being bookish."

What advice do you have for young people?

"Keep an open mind and mix with people from a range of cultures because this will be handy if you come to work for a multicultural company. Also my tip is to get some work experience before doing an MBA so you understand the link between theory and practice."
