The Mentor and Leadership Program is congratulating its hard-working student mentors at a series of presentation evenings and lunches conducted at Mackay, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Emerald, Pomona and Sunshine Coast campuses.
The Rockhampton Mentor Presentation Evening was held on Friday September 16 to congratulate student mentors for all the hard work they’ve put into the program over the past year.
Over 50 students, staff, and guests attended the evening at the Walter Reid Centre.
Certificates of appreciation were awarded to each student mentor.
One student from each faculty was awarded the prestigious Mentor of the Year Award. Students chosen as Mentors of the Year were nominated by their mentees as well as faculty staff.
Mentor presentations have also been held in Mackay, Gladstone and Bundaberg over the last couple of weeks.
