Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Operatic 'boy band' on Man Up Tour of CQ 

The Mackay-based operatic 'boy band' Formidable is planning a tour of Central Queensland in late August.

The group will perform from 7.30pm on Friday, August 28, at The Cathedral College Hall in Rockhampton. Tickets are available at the door.

Formidable will perform from 7.30pm on Saturday, August 29, at CQUniversity Gladstone Campus (Leo Zussino Building), with tickets available at the door.

The group will also perform from 7.30pm on Sunday, August 30, at Yeppoon Town Hall, with tickets available from Yellow Door Bookshop.
