'Pioneering' spirit supports Conservatorium concerts

Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music is presenting a big year of concerts with help from the Pioneer Permanent Building Society in Mackay.
Pioneer Permanent is helping to promote the concert series through large format newspaper adverts.
The series began last week with a staff concert and will continue with national and international artists: Chess-CQCM production - 19-20 April (Friday 8pm & Saturday 1pm, 8pm); An Intimate Evening with Graeme Connors, Australia's finest singer/songwriter - 8pm, 22-23 May (Wednesday-Thursday); Around The World In 80 Minutes, Regis Danillon, piano - 8pm, 15 June (Saturday); Heart Quest, Touring Irish Dance Troupe - 10-12 July (Wednesday 8pm, Thursday & Friday 11am & 8pm); Grant Collins, Master Drummer - 8pm, 27 July (Saturday); Kiss Me, Kate-The Musical - 22-24 August (Thursday & Friday 11am & 7.30pm, Saturday 1pm & 7.30pm); Piers Lane in Concert, internationally acclaimed pianist - 8pm 26 September (Thursday); A Night of Jazz, with legendary Australian jazz icon Don Burrows, Kevin Hunt, Con Jazz and CQCM Jazz Orchestra - 8pm 5 October (Saturday).
