Gemma Clissold, a PhD Student in the Faculty of Business of Law, has done CQU proud with an excellent interview on her shiftwork research on Friday’s Stateline. Management’s Peter Smith said, “Gemma provided the underpinning that enables shiftworker's to speak for themselves and thereby to highlight the importance of excellence in the management of occupational health and safety. She also provided yet another example of how regional universities engage through our teaching and research.” .
Copies of her forthcoming refereed journal paper [Clissold G., Smith P.A., Acutt, B. and Di Milia, L. (for publication in September 2002) A study of female nurses combining partner and parent roles with working a continuous three-shift roster: the impact on sleep, fatigue and stress.
