Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Belinda makes artful exit from studies 

Belinda McGrath has just finished her learning management degree studies and is embarking on her latest art exhibition of recent works, entitled Shades of Grey.

All are welcome to view the exhibition at the Deann Muir Gallery at 65 Alma Street in Rockhampton, throughout November (between 9.30am-2.30pm on Tuesday-Friday or from 10am to 4pm on Saturday).

Only at the beginning of her career, Belinda already has staged a number of solo exhibitions, taken part in invitational group exhibitions and has collections listed with the National Gallery of Australia, State Library of Queensland, and the Queensland Art Gallery.

She's hoping to become a school art teacher.
