Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

International education specialists gather for forum

Key international education researchers will join campus and industry representatives for a forum considering the ‘Emerging Agenda', from 6pm on Tuesday, November 24, at CQUniversity Melbourne (108 Lonsdale Street).

Presented by CQUniversity's International Education Research Centre, key speakers include policy specialist Professor Simon Marginson (Uni of Mel); teaching and learning specialist Dr Erlenawati Sawir (CQUniversity) and market specialist Melissa Banks (Mels Resources).
