An exhibition of works by Rockhampton artists is on display at CQU until 16 October.
The Rockhampton branch of the Royal Queensland Art Society, in conjunction with the University, is staging the exhibition in the Appleton Gallery in building 5 at the Rockhampton campus.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Glenice Hancock opened the exhibition titled “Pigments of the Imagination” on Wednesday.
This is the first time the society has held this exhibition at the University.
Rockhampton branch president Coral Morris was excited about the new venue for this year’s display.
All the works will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm daily and will be offered for sale.
