Discussions flow from SmartWater board meeting

CQUniversity hosted the SmartWater board meeting at its Rockhampton campus recently.
Our Vice-Chancellor Professor Scott Bowman met with Chair of the SmartWater Board, Professor Joe Baker AO, OBE and Deputy Chair and Griffith University PVC Professor Sue Berners-Price at the meeting.

CQUniversity has partnered with Griffith University and the University of the Sunshine Coast in this project.
The Centre hopes to be the nerve-centre for water supply research and development in Queensland.
The Smart Water Research Centre embodies a synergistic approach to the integrated water management cycle.
The state-of-the-art research facility offers cutting-edge water research equipment focused on microbiology, environmental toxicology and chemical diagnostics.
It also provides a program of education and training directed towards emerging industry needs.
