CQU now partner of Australia China Alumni Association

CQU is among the first Australian universities to forge a partnership with the Australia China Alumni Association.
The organisation will represent CQU in strengthening links with and supporting our graduates and will liaise with the University's Office of Development.
ACAA was launched in Beijing on September 21 as a not-for-profit organisation servicing graduates of Australian universities living in China.
Membership applications are available now and will provide members with networking, professional development and relationship-building opportunities.
The Patron is the Australian Ambassador to China, Dr Geoff Raby, who will be actively involved with supporting the growth and development of ACAA in China.

Aims of the ACAA :
- To develop and maintain close, ongoing links with Alumni in China
- To provide a powerful network of contacts to Alumni in China, and partner Universities in Australia
- To provide ongoing career advice and support for Chinese Alumni upon their return to China, and for International Alumni of Australian Universities who are living and working in China.
- To provide a social networking opportunity for Alumni in China
- To host annually, a range of professionally oriented events / forums etc to provide personal development and professional networking opportunities
- To maintain an up-to-date bilingual database of Alumni in China.
- To raise the profile of Australian education and Australian universities in China, through local media and Alumni profiling
