CQU adjunct traces 'demise' of David Robinson

CQU Adjunct Professor Paul Rodan, from CQU Melbourne, has published an article on the demise of former Monash University Vice-Chancellor David Robinson.

PhotoID:1486 Professor Rodan, who is Head Academic Programs at Melbourne, publishes the article in the Australian Universities Review (he is also on the AUR editorial board).

In the article entitled 'A Modest Victory for Academic Values', he says the rise and fall of David Robinson was a parable for the times.

"The main who defined managerialism in the Australian context had in 2002 seemed to be at the peak of his powers; a few months later he was gone in disgrace." The article says that, in the end, Robinson's management style left him with nowhere to hide.
