Buzz About Local Tourist Attraction

Jillian Litster, a lecturer in tourism at Central Queensland University, became a local attraction herself on the Rockhampton campus Friday, participating in the Leukemia Foundation’s Shave For a Cure.
Friend and event organizer Elaine Ross said Jillian had missed the official opportunity to get buzzed last week. But that didn’t stop her. "She always had a yen to do it. I think talking to her friends who said they'd contribute to the Foundation sent her over the edge!" It took only a few minutes to cut her shoulder length auburn hair down to stubble.
Jillian managed to raise $700, which also supported the fund raising activities of Central Queensland University student, Cindy Freeman, Rockhampton's adult entrant in this year's quest.

“Jillian is very courageous and very generous and what she has done is truly appreciated,” said Elaine ======Photo above: Jillian looks as if she’s wiping a tear.=======
