High school students experience CQU Bundaberg

A total of 110 high school students from a range of schools were treated to a day of fun and information at Central Queensland University Bundaberg last Wednesday.

PhotoID:2890 CQU Experience is run every year and gives high school students the chance to come out and experience CQU Bundaberg first hand, with a tour of the facilities, information sessions, displays and faculty presentations, as well as a free lunch with entertainment.

“It was great to have so many students attend this event. CQU Bundaberg has many programs to offer and it gives the students a more informed choice when they make their selections,” said Duane Barron, acting Community Relations Officer.

Students attended from Bundaberg State High School, Gin Gin State High School, Kepnock State High School, Bundaberg North State High School, St Luke’s Anglican School and Isis District High School.

PhotoID:2891 “We appreciate the opportunity to inform local secondary students about the range of degree programs available on our campus. Once again CQU Experience was well attended by an enthusiastic and appreciative group of students. We hope to see them next year as university students on the Bundaberg Campus,” said Dr Helen Huntly, acting Head of Campus.
