Central Queensland University (CQU) Mackay Health academics will host a ‘Meet and Greet' evening on Wednesday February 20 for professionals interested in discussing research projects in health, allied health and psycho-social areas.
Lecturer in Nursing, Pam Savage and her colleagues have seen interest from a variety of health professional groups in the region to take on research projects.
Lecturer in Nursing at CQU Mackay, Pam Savage is hosting an evening at CQU Mackay to bring together professionals interested in discussing research projects in health, allied health and psycho-social areas.
By providing an opportunity for all of these groups and others to get together and share ideas, Pam along with local researcher Dr Fiona Millard, is hoping that some new research projects might be born.
"This is an opportunity for people to hear about the research interests and dreams of others; identify areas worth investigating for funding and research activities and draw together groups able to work to achieve the research outcomes," said Pam.
The get-to-know evening will be held at CQU Mackay in building 1 near the main reception, commencing at 6pm with wine and cheese followed by introductions and networking opportunities.
