A representative of the publisher said "the major customers are in South Australia, Tasmania, NSW and Queensland. The sales reps are all delighted with the book and are so enjoying selling it".

A third-year mature-age nursing student at the University of New England recently responded with praise for the book.

"My colleagues and I have just found the .... Guide and wish we could have had this from day one," the student says.

"It is an invaluable tool and while I only have 2 months until I graduate and the big interview on Monday, this little book will be in my pocket every time I leave home for work.  It is fantastic. I will be keeping my eye out for updated versions as well as time goes on."

'Student Nurse Clinical Survival Guide' was the first in a series for the same publishers.

The series is being produced by a team led by Kerry Reid-Searl, involving Dr Trudy Dwyer and Dr Lorna Moxham in association with other discipline-specific authors.

The second one on maths competence is already published and more books are in the pipeline.
