Gladstone educators and students gather for massive maths morning

Gladstone university lecturers, trainee teachers, Education Queensland representatives, teachers and primary school pupils will gather at CQU Gladstone on Monday (September 6) to participate in and observe a series of maths activities and games with real-world applications.
Pupils involved will come from Gladstone Central and Gladstone South state schools.
They will interact with CQU Bachelor of Learning Management students who are undertaking a Numeracy in the Classroom course, under the gaze of local lecturers, principals, teachers and education officials.
Organiser Val Cleary from CQU said the annual Community of Learners Day activity would be held at the Gladstone Engineering Centure in the Leo Zussino Building.
Activities will be underway between 9.30am and Noon.
