30 girls from regional Queensland attend Camp Discovery at CQU Rockhampton

Thirty girls from the Mackay-Barcaldine-Gympie triangle were at CQU Rockhampton for Camp Discovery - a 3-day camp for senior high school students interested in study options in arts, humanities and education (July 17-19).
The camp gave participants the chance to experience University life and to stay at the Capricornia College residential facility.
Activities included hands-on workshops, guest speakers including graduates and careers and study information.
Sessions included performance poetry, animation antics, physical education play, poetry slam, dance theatre, maniac maths, Japanese language and culture, tourism, literacy and cultural studies, history, geography and music.
