Campuses host leading songwriters

CQU campuses at Gladstone, Bundaberg and Rockhampton this week hosted some of Australia's leading singer-songwriters as they travelled around Queensland on the Queensland Music Festival 'Song Trails' program.
Deborah Conway (former Do Re Mi lead, solo singer plus stage and screen star), Kev Carmody (Aboriginal recording artist), Dave Faulkner (Hoodoo Gurus) and Seaman Dan (ARIA awardee from Torres Strait) helped other aspiring musicians and songwriters to workshop the idea of 'What makes a great song?'.
The journey will culminate with a performance of workshopped songs at the Brisbane Powerhouse from 3pm on Sunday, July 29.
