Campus helps to discover the Secrets of Executive Coaching

Intrigued by Executive Coaching? The Australian Leadership Development Centre (ALDC) is running a special 2 Hour Forum at CQUniversity Mackay Campus on Tuesday, October 7 that will reveal what is really involved in an executive coaching program and why such programs work.

The 2 hour forum "Uncover Secrets of Executive Coaching" has been developed by ALDC to give local Mackay HR personnel and individual leaders an opportunity to learn about the executive coaching process and how it can help them in their leadership development efforts.

Shaun Killian from ALDC stated that executive coaching is being adopted by a large number of individual leaders and organisations to enhance leadership skills, and the number is rising.  However despite its popularity many people remain unaware of what executive coaching entails.

"This forum has been coordinated in direct response to local organisations who have expressed a need to access this type of information and training which is normally only available in metropolitan areas. To achieve success in a rapidly growing economy such as Mackay, local organisations know that quality leadership is critical and as a result are finding ways to sustain improvements in a leader's behaviour in the workplace."

The forum will explore the elements of an effective coaching program, different types of coaching and what each of these types should be used for, how to get the most from both external and internal coaching programs and how to measure the degree of improvement in leadership behaviours that have occurred as a result of the program.

The forum will be $49 including tea, coffee and a light breakfast from 7am, for further information register online at http://www.leadershipdevelopment.edu.au/.
