CQUniversity Community Relations Coordinator Glenys Kirkwood has played a number of roles during Seniors Week, held recently in Rockhampton.
Glenys, from the Office of Development and Graduate Relations, helped compere the Shalom Village Garden Party and acted as a judge for the Senior's Idol competition, during the official opening of Seniors Week at Bauhinia House.

She performed her judging role alongside ABC Radio's Craig Zonca and Rockhampton Musical Union's Christine Netherwood.
Meanwhile, Glenys was also a guest speaker, along with Dick MacNevin OAM, for a morning tea organised by the Anti Discrimination Commission of Queensland and featuring ADCQ Regional Manager Julie Davis.
Glenys' talk centred on the importance of supporting the community and standing up to be counted through actions as simple as volunteering one's time to a community group or by leaving a Bequest to the University to provide long-term benefits to this region for years to come.
University magazines and bequest brochures were distributed to participants at these events.
