QR National has developed a bonded scholarship program for CQUniversity Bachelor of Engineering students who have a major in Electrical or Civil. This scholarship program will provide assistance during the final study years, as well as vacation work experience and employment after graduation.

The scholarship will provide $7000 per semester for up to two years of study. Applications are now open to students via www.qrnational.com.au/careers .

Graduates are also encouraged to apply for the three-year Graduate Rotation Program which provides experience in a range of different areas, in order to accelerate professional development and achievement of career goals.

CQUniversity graduate Nathan Sorensen, a previous scholarship recipient, was on hand to show the CQUniversity students how the signalling operations work, and answer any questions.

The University is delighted to be working with QR National, the largest rail freight haulage operator in Australia by tonnes hauled, operating in key freight sectors and supply chains across the country.

Scholarships are a great way for industry to support and encourage students while building the strength and resilience of our region.
