A new program available via online studies aims to create a whirlwind of classroom innovation, exposing teachers to the extensive learning possibilities offered by the latest Information Communication Technologies (ICTs).
From July, teachers keen to lead their profession, can undertake 3 project-based courses on their way to a new Graduate Diploma of Learning Management (e-Learning) via Central Queensland University.
"This program is designed to take teachers from a wide range of ICT skill levels and work with them to produce exceptional learning materials for their students," says Scot Aldred, the program designer and course coordinator for all the program's courses.
Mr Aldred has a Masters in Educational Technology and has been designing online courses using ICTs for the past 10 years.
At the completion of the program, participants will have a professional portfolio that they can use for promotion, gaining an Advanced ICT Pedagogical Licence, or employment. The program is practically oriented with an emphasis on authentic learning outcomes.
