Pupils encouraged to dilate science via snapshot

CQU is encouraging classes of primary school pupils to express their appreciation of science in the broader community and their everyday lives via a single snapshot.

As part of its celebration of Science Week 2006, due to be celebrated in August, CQU's Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Health is conducting a photo competition for pupils in the Fitzroy – Central West, Mackay – Whitsunday and Wide Bay – Burnett regions.

Entries will only be accepted from entire school classes, through their school principal or class teacher, and submitted online.

The theme of the entry can be self-generated, or taken from the list of suggestions in the guide for class teachers at www.scienceweek.cqu.edu.au .
